About Us

Danville’s Office of Economic Development & Tourism is the official destination marketing organization for Danville and Pittsylvania County Virginia. The office is responsible for leading regional tourism promotions including overseeing advertising, public relations, group travel and trade events, and visitor experience initiatives to stimulate economic growth.

The Danville Visitor Center is located at 645 River Park Drive and is open daily from 9am – 5pm.  You will be greeted by  knowledgeable Travel Counselors who will assist you with travel information about our communities.
